TRAFFIC CITATIONS

PAYING YOUR CITATION WITHOUT GOING TO COURT

If you decide to pay for your citation, either online or in person, you are essentially pleading guilty to whatever offense is listed on your citation or citations. Paying your citation without going to court can significantly impact your driving history and/or your insurance rate. Call us now for a free consult on your case!

NEGOTIATION

Here at The Mundwiller Law Firm, our representation starts before you ever step foot inside of the courtroom. We negotiate with the solicitor on your behalf and make sure you are treated fairly. You can then decide whether to take the deal that was negotiated on your behalf and offered by the solicitor.

ARRAIGNMENT

Arraignment is the hearing date that is listed on your citation. At arraignment, you will enter a plea on your citation or citations. There are three types of plea you can entered into the record in Georgia:
  1. Guilty;
  2. Not Guilty; or
  3. Nolo Contendere (which you may use only ONCE every five years).

Skipping the arraignment without paying for your citation(s) prior will result in the Judge issuing a bench warrant for your arrest. Here at The Mundwiller Law Firm, we can represent you at the arraignment and enter a plea on your behalf if you are unable to attend the hearing. We will also attempt to negotiate with the solicitor and get you the best deal possible. Call us now for a free consult on your case!
